A coaching centre for economically backward students of SC & ST categories has been set up from the academic session 2009-2010 within the college campus under the sponsorship of the UGC. The Centre is expected to provide academic facilities for the students of backward classes to enable them to get success in examinations.

Remedial Coaching for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) & Minorities:

In order to enable students belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) & Minority communities who need remedial coaching to come up to the level necessary for pursuing higher studies efficiently and reduce their failure and drop out rates, the college has received financial assistance from the University Grants Commission (UGC) during the XIth. Plan for conducting special classes outside the regular time-table.
In this connection, a Remedial Coaching Cell was established in the College in Decembers 2009 with the objective of organizing Remedial Coaching at the Under-Graduate level.

 

Facilities:

  • Coaching with special attention of individual students and their special demands.

  • There will be regular text books and reference books can be issued by the eligible students

  • Class tests will be conducted on regular intervals.

  • Library Facility with one additional library card.
